Manual check-in and check-out
Record an approved exception when a QR code cannot be used.

Use this article only when your school allows manual check-in for the situation.
Before you start
- Your account has permission to create manual check events.
- The visitor has been verified using school policy.
- You know the reason QR scanning is not possible.
Steps
- Open Manual check.
- Select the branch and check occasion.
- Search for the student.
- Select the correct check direction or occasion.
- Enter or confirm the reason for manual handling if requested.
- Save the manual event.
- Record the situation in the exception log if required.
Expected result
The manual event is recorded and can be reviewed later by administrators.
Troubleshooting
- If Manual check is missing, you are not authorized to use it.
- If the student cannot be found, contact an administrator before releasing the student.
