How to scan a student QR code

Before you start

• You are signed in.
• The current check occasion exists and is active.

Steps

1. Open the scanner.
2. Select the correct branch if prompted.
3. Select the check occasion for the current session.
4. Allow camera access if the browser or app asks.
5. Hold the camera steady over the QR code.
6. Wait for the preview screen.
7. Read the visitor and student details.
8. Tap Confirm only when everything is correct.

Expected result

The student check event is saved and appears in Check events and attendance reports.

Troubleshooting

• If the camera does not open, close and reopen the scanner.
• If the option is missing, ask a school administrator to confirm your role and access.
