What this article covers
Use this article to plan the rollout before SpurrCampus becomes part of your daily arrival and dismissal process.
Before you start
- Your school has chosen a launch date.
- You have a staff lead responsible for check-in operations.
- Your parent communication channel is ready.
Steps
- Set a soft-launch date and a full go-live date.
- Complete branch, class, student, and check occasion setup.
- Run a staff-only test using sample students and QR scans.
- Send the parent rollout letter with sign-in instructions.
- Invite parents and confirm that the first group can sign in.
- Train scanning staff at the actual scanning station.
- On go-live day, assign one administrator to monitor check events and confirmations.
- After the first day, review issues and update your procedure.
Expected result
Your team has a traceable launch plan and knows what must be verified before families use the system.
Troubleshooting
- If parent adoption is low, resend invitations and share the parent onboarding guide.
- If scans are slow, test network strength and camera access at the scanning station.
