Before you start
- Your school has a written pickup and data privacy policy.
- You know which adults are parents, guardians, drivers, or temporary pickup persons.
Steps
- Review your school pickup authorization policy.
- Collect any consent or authorization forms your school requires.
- Open the student profile and invite or update the adult assignment with the correct role.
- Confirm whether parent confirmation is still required during pickup for that role.
- Remove or deactivate assignments when authorization ends.
- Review assignments at the start of each term.

Troubleshooting
- If an adult should no longer pick up a child, remove or deactivate the assignment immediately.
- If there is a dispute at pickup, keep the student inside and escalate to the school office.
