Before you start
- Your school has a written pickup and data privacy policy.
- You know which adults are parents, guardians, drivers, or temporary pickup persons.
- Required paper or digital consent has been collected.
Steps
- Review your school pickup authorization policy.
- Collect the parent consent form or equivalent school form.
- Collect any driver or temporary pickup authorization forms required by your school.
- Create or update the adult assignment in SpurrCampus.
- Set the correct role for the adult.
- Remove or deactivate assignments when authorization ends.
- Review assignments at the start of each term.

Digital access in SpurrCampus matches your school authorization records.
Troubleshooting
- If an adult should no longer pick up a child, remove or deactivate the assignment immediately.
- If there is a dispute at pickup, keep the student inside and escalate to the school office.
