Use this guide to rehearse afternoon pickup, including parent confirmation when required.
Before you start
- Afternoon pickup occasion is active.
- You have completed a successful drop-off rehearsal or have a parent ready with QR.
Steps
- As the parent, open Show check-in QR and select the child.
- Select Afternoon pickup and show the QR code.
- As scanning staff, open Scan check-in QR and choose Pickup.
- Scan, review visitor and student details, and record.
- If confirmation is required, have the parent approve or decline on their device.
- Release the student only after staff confirms the process is complete.
- Verify the event appears under Check events or Reports.
Expected result
Pickup is recorded according to school confirmation policy.
Troubleshooting
- If confirmation is pending, keep the student supervised until it completes or the office decides.
- If the wrong occasion was selected, ask the parent to generate a new QR.
