Use this checklist for each arrival or dismissal session.

Before opening the station
- Device is charged
- Backup device is available, if required
- Internet connection tested
- Camera access tested
- Staff signed in
- Correct branch selected
- Correct check occasion selected
- Exception log available
- School office / supervisor contact confirmed
During scanning
- Ask visitor to show QR code
- Scan QR code
- Verify visitor name and role
- Verify student name(s)
- Verify student photo, if used by the School
- Confirm scan only if details match
- Wait for parent confirmation where required
- Escalate mismatches or declined confirmations
- Record exceptions according to School procedure
Closing the station
- Review any unresolved confirmations
- Confirm exception log is complete
- Report device or network issues
- Hand off concerns to administrator
- Sign out of shared devices
