## Before opening the station

- [ ] Device is charged
- [ ] Backup device is available, if required
- [ ] Internet connection tested
- [ ] Camera access tested
- [ ] Staff signed in
- [ ] Correct branch selected
- [ ] Correct check occasion selected
- [ ] Exception log available
- [ ] School office / supervisor contact confirmed

## During scanning

- [ ] Ask visitor to show QR code
- [ ] Scan QR code
- [ ] Verify visitor name and role
- [ ] Verify student name(s)
- [ ] Verify student photo, if used by the School
- [ ] Confirm scan only if details match
- [ ] Wait for parent confirmation where required
- [ ] Escalate mismatches or declined confirmations
- [ ] Record exceptions according to School procedure

## Closing the station

- [ ] Review any unresolved confirmations
- [ ] Confirm exception log is complete
- [ ] Report device or network issues
- [ ] Hand off concerns to administrator
- [ ] Sign out of shared devices
