Sending bulletins and announcements
Create and publish notices for the right branches, classes, or groups.
What this article covers
Use this article when sending a school notice that should appear as a bulletin.
Before you start
- You know the audience for the announcement.
- The message has been approved by the school if approval is required.
- Any image or attachment has been prepared.
Steps
- Go to Communications → Bulletins.
- Click Compose bulletin.
- Enter a short title and summary.
- Write the body of the announcement.
- Set the audience using branch, class, grade, tag, or role filters.
- Add a banner image if needed.
- Choose whether to pin the bulletin.
- Save as draft or publish immediately.
- Open the published bulletin from a test parent or staff account if possible.
Expected result
The bulletin appears for the selected audience only.
Troubleshooting
- If recipients do not see the bulletin, check the audience filters and publish status.
- If a notice should also appear in inboxes, create or enable the related message option.
