Creating check occasions
Create the drop-off and pickup events that parents and staff select during check-in.

Use this article when adding a new drop-off or pickup window for a branch.
Before you start
- The branch exists.
- You know whether the occasion is drop-off or pickup.
- You know the label staff and parents should see.
Steps
- Go to School Management → Check occasions.
- Click Add check occasion.
- Select the branch.
- Enter a clear name, such as Morning drop-off or Afternoon pickup.
- Choose the direction: Drop-off or Pickup.
- Select a display color.
- Turn Active on.
- Save the occasion.
- Ask a parent or test user to confirm the occasion appears when generating a QR code.
Expected result
Parents can generate QR codes for the occasion and staff can select the same occasion when scanning.
Troubleshooting
- If parents cannot see the occasion, confirm it is active and tied to the right branch.
- If staff scan under the wrong occasion, correct the check event according to school procedure.
